So, after reading '50 Shades' what is your viewpoint on things like BDSM and the relationship Christian and Ana have?

BDSM freaks me out. I don’t think that’s the road I’d go down, to be completely honest. I’m weird when it comes to my sex life (see a post a few back, it’ll explain a lot). However, if you’re into S&M there’s nothing wrong with that in my opinoin. Just like anything else, what you enjoy, you enjoy. Who am I to bash on S&M, ya know? But yeah, the whole whips and ties and “Red Room of Pain” thing just isn’t my cup of tea.
As for their relationship. Welp, I’m not a fan of how damn controlling he is. I love a nice, independent female role, and “50 Shades” lacks that hard. Ana was all quiet and awkward until the man came into the picture, now she’s strutting herself naked and posing for pictures because of him. Again, not my cup of tea, but I do enjoy reading them for the sake of having a book to read.
Overall, the first book wasn’t completely horrendous. I have read much better books, though. Book two is a bit better, I think.
